Calhoun Park & Prairie Hike

We will hike two adjacent places: Calhoun Park is a 50-acre City of New Berlin park with a large hill. Calhoun Creek Prairie Preserve was recently acquired by Waukesha County Land Conservancy (WCLC), which is restoring the former Christmas tree farm.
Calhoun Creek runs through both of them. Staff from WCLC will be on hand to introduce us to their property.

The hike on dirt trails includes a climb up the large hill. Trails may be muddy. We will hike in drizzle but not in heavy rain.

I estimate the combined distance to be 2-3 miles.
