Details

This segment of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail contains some of the finest kettle moraine topography in Wisconsin. A mix of forest, wetlands and farm fields with 2.8 miles of trails that wind through the second largest cluster of Kames in the state. (Kames are steep hills made of glacial till composed of gravel, sand and rock.)

While this hike is not strenuous the trail is uneven and rocky or muddy depending on conditions. Wear appropriate footwear. We will hike in light rain but not in heavy rain. I'm allowing two hours, but it will likely be closer to one hour.
