Gear up, snag your niece/nephew’s Big Wheel (or find your own tiny ride), and join hundreds of thrill-seekers as we take on the steepest, windiest street in SF! THIS IS A BIG WHEELS ONLY RACE!
Not feeling that ambitious? No worries—grab a spot behind the hay bales, kick back, and watch the madness unfold as we barrel down the hill in style (or at least in one piece)

Every year, this epic event brings out the wildest, wackiest costumes, and this time, Urban Diversion is rolling deep as Super Mario Kart characters! So pick your player, suit up, and let’s hit the track!
Whether you're racing or just spectating from behind the hay bales, it’s gonna be absolute mayhem—in the best way possible. Ready… Set… LET’S-A-GO! 🍌🔹💥

After we’ve raced down the hill a few times, we’ll head to a bar for some well-deserved drinks! 🍻 If you’re hungry, you can grab some food there too. This event is always a blast and the perfect way to kick back, laugh, and bond with fellow UD members! 🚴‍♂️🔥

What to Expect:
You will meet with the rest of your Mario Kart Urban Diversion family and then head to the start of the race! Get ready for an absolute wild ride through Vermont Street! We will zip down this windy road, trying our best not to totally whip out! Once we finish racing, we'll head to a bar close by for some drinks!
Event Includes:

• An awesome Urban Diversion host to race you down the hill!
• A fun and exhilarating SF tradition!
• Group dressing up as Mario Kart!

What to bring:

• Your own big wheels! You can buy a big wheel bike at FB marketplace, Target, or even a thrift store!
• Day bag full of essentials (water, layers, snacks)
• $$ for donations to the organizers
• A Mario Kart themed outfit! Even if it is just matching the color of the character! If you're into dressing up, feel free to go all out!!
• $ for the bar after the race!

Attire: Dress as your favorite Mario Kart character!! If you decide not to dress up, make sure to wear something comfortable and not valuable! Our clothes might get a bit roughed up
