• What we'll do
Lets take a Stand Up Paddle (SUP) trip around the Newport Bay.
Parking is free at North Star Beach. If you have your own SUP. plan to arrive by 8:30 AM. If you need to rent a SUP come a little earlier. You will need your drivers license to give to NAC. It is first come first serve, there are no reservations. When you arrive you'll need to fill out their release form and give them your drivers license. They'll give you a paddle. Then meet us under the canopy by 8:30 for introductions, then down to the water to launch.
I will provide about 5-7 minutes of instructions for newbies, and then we paddle. Expect to be paddling by 8:45 AM. Exact route will be determined by wind, tides, etc.
We'll be out on the water for about 2 hours.
Stand Up Paddle Board: $20/hour MIN. AGE: 18Yrs (Only one person on a Board).
Dogs not allowed on SUP.
We stop at a nice bay during our paddle and do some yoga moves, and you might fall in, so wear appropriate clothing.
• What to bring
Bring bottled water, but leave valuables at home. You might not want to bring your cellphone, unless you have a really good water proof case. Sunglasses with a leash, sunscreen, and either water shoes, or bare feet.
