Intro to Martian Computing: Urbit as a Purely Functional Operating System

This event is hosted at the Seattle NFT Museum in Belltown.

Come learn the basics of the Urbit software stack. We'll look at the primary OS components, the computing model and language with which the OS is constructed, and examples of how software is built for end users. By the end of the night, you should have a clear idea of the motivations behind Urbit, the advantages of the architecture, and some of the remaining challenges.
