Andrew will provide insights and discussion on how the federal government is tackling the procurement of cloud technologies by building a double-sided marketplace, Apps.gov (https://apps.gov/), which is focused on creating easier pathways for tech companies to enter the federal government market and federal employees a singular place to discover, explore and procure these products.

The Microsoft DC office is within five blocks of both the Mt. Vernon Square / 7th Street -Convention Center (Yellow/Green lines) and the Gallery Place / Chinatown (Yellow/Green/Red lines) stations.
Parking:
The parking garage is located underground on the west side of the building (next to Bank of America). It is on 10th street (one way southbound) between Massachusetts Ave and K Street. The garage will be open after-hours for the Meetup. Free parking validation is available for Microsoft DC Azure Government attendees. Be sure to request a validation ticket at the Meetup.
