Workshop: Data Pipelines for fun & profit AND SDLC for cross-functional teams

RIVET Work is hosting a workshop event with two topics (depth of topic discussion depends on audience interest):

1. Data pipelines: Discussion will start with a brief presentation by Phil Borel, Engineering Manager for the Data Pipeline team @ RIVET, covering how data pipelines work, a brief history of data pipeline development at RIVET & what the future holds for data pipelines in SaaS. Come prepared to discuss your data pipeline experience & any learnings you've had developing data pipelines.
2. SDLC for cross-functional teams: Discussion will start with a brief presentation about the SDLC for cross-functional teams. We will then discuss our experiences developing software as Developers, PMs, TPMs & Designers. How to best work with cross-functional peers? Trade-offs of engineers being involved in product convergence vs only technical convergence. There are no "right/one-size-fits-all" answers, but there are plenty of things to learn from each others' experiences!
