What we’re about
User Experience Auckland (UXA) is a non profit volunteer group. We use Meetups and social media to organise community-led events focused on knowledge sharing and networking for design professionals in the tech industry, educators, students and enthusiasts. UXA aims to make the tech industry more welcoming by creating a diverse community of peers and role models. User Experience Auckland is a transgender and non-binary inclusive meetup.
To make clear what is expected, all attendees, speakers, organisers and volunteers at any User Experience Auckland meetup are required to follow our Code of Conduct. Organisers will enforce this code throughout the meetup.

Join us for our quarterly Auckland Tech Scene Social with our friends from UX Auckland, Product Tank Auckland, Analytics & Optimisation Auckland, and the BA Career meetup.
This is a relaxed social networking event for anyone in the tech space – UXers, developers, data folk, product people, business analysts, entrepreneurs, students, and anyone curious or new. Expect great conversations, community vibes, and a reminder that we’re all in this together.
Matariki marks the rising of the Pleiades star cluster AKA Ngā Whetū O Matariki in the north east, near the Winter Solstice for us in Aotearoa. Matariki public holiday is Friday, 20th June 2025.
The beautiful "Mānawatia a Matariki" graphic was created by Kathryn George for the UX Auckland Matariki Design Contest last year.

🕔 When: Wednesday, 18 June 2025, from 5pm to 7:30pm
🍸 Broken Lantern Happy Hour: 4pm–6pm — come early for the best deals!This is an unsponsored event, so drinks and food are pay-your-own-way. The Broken Lantern has a lovely menu of bites, cocktails, and craft beers to explore.
