Join us for the kick-off session of a program that will support and assist you in creating, or revising and updating, your UX portfolio.
We understand that many of you struggle with creating and/or updating your portfolio. Where do you find the time and support for this important task? This program will provide you with important information, answering your questions about how to create a UX portfolio that gets results--an interview and a job offer.
At UXPA NJ, we realize that so many of you are busy working on your current UX projects. As a result, you may struggle to find the time and structure to work on your UX portfolio. Putting off the creation or updating of your UX portfolio until the last minute can create unnecessary stress. The good news is that creating or updating your UX portfolio doesn't have to be stressful. You don't have to go it alone. This program will give you the guidance and advice you are looking for, in a structured, supportive small group setting.
This program assist you in building your UX portfolio, one bite at a time. Over the following two months, participants will meet weekly in a small group setting, obtaining useful feedback and guidance.

This event is free and open to the public. UXers of all stripes are welcome to attend and participate.
Note: It is recommended that you complete the survey and read the article sooner rather than later.

About Our Facilitator
Josephine M. Giaimo is the Founder of User Experience Research, LLC. With degrees in psychology and engineering, she has been working in the UX field since the 1980s. Clients and employers have included ADP, AT&T, NJIT, IITRI, Google, Medidata, Vital Decisions, and others. Her UX research at NJIT was funded by IBM, The Annenberg Foundation, the Office of Naval Research, and the State of New Jersey. Her original research as part of her masters degree proposed a framework for evaluating the performance of neural networks and statistical approaches in predicting project profits.
She taught college-level courses in general psychology and the dynamics of group processes for several years at Bloomfield College in Bloomfield, New Jersey.
Josephine is also a certified career coach who has mentored and coached numerous UX and other professionals over the years.
In her spare time, she works in her garden, cooks, participates in "craftivism", and listens to Indian ragas.
