Strategies for Getting Hired in UX

This month, we invite you to participate in a discussion around specific strategies for getting yourself hired in UX in 2026.

We've selected five brief video clips, under five minutes each, of experts in the field discussing five specific aspects of your UX career strategy. We've also prepared some specific questions in advance as starting points for each discussion. Of course, you are encouraged to participate by adding your own questions and/or participate to the degree you feel comfortable with during the event. We look forward to an in-depth discussion, so please feel free to bring your questions.

Our team of facilitators, all of whom are members of our UXPA NJ chapter, are experienced UX professionals spanning design, research, marketing, and more. We've selected topics and questions relevant to you and your current job search, whether you are new to the field, mid-level, or highly experienced. The UX job market is challenging, especially in this inverted market. We intend to prepare you with specific strategies and skills that you can use to support you in landing that UX spot that you are seeking.
