Making Defensible UX Decisions - A Table for 12 Dinner Discussion

Details
Join us for an evening of good food and great conversation with fellow UX professionals as we tackle a question at the heart of our craft:
How much research is enough to make a defensible UX decision?
In a world of tight timelines, limited budgets, and fast-moving teams, UXers are often asked to make high-stakes decisions with incomplete data. So how do we decide when we’ve done enough research? What makes a decision "defensible"—to peers, stakeholders, or users themselves? And how does this vary across contexts like product, agency, or enterprise work?
This is a casual, conversational event where everyone is welcome to share experiences, perspectives, and questions. Whether you’re a researcher, designer, product manager, or something in between, your voice adds to the richness of the discussion.
What to expect:
- A hosted UXPA dinner with a small group of local professionals
- No presentations—just a casual conversation over good food
- Free to attend; each guest pays for their own food and drinks
Capacity is limited to keep the conversation intimate—please RSVP early.
If plans change and you can no longer attend, please update your status, so someone else can take your spot.
We look forward to seeing you there!
