TL;DR Accessible React Components by Yuraima
To create accessible React applications, we have to start at the heart of it all: the components. But figuring out how to make our React components work for everyone, including those with disabilities, isn't always as straightforward as we expect.
In this talk I will go over my "too long; didn't read" (TL;DR) for building accessible components that we all know and love. I'll go over my techniques for translating the official W3C documentation into a compact list of requirements. Then, we'll take these requirements and turn them into code for our reusable components. By the end of this talk, you'll be able to translate official documentation into code, have a starter pack of accessible components to incorporate into your own component library and be well on your way to making React applications that work for everyone.
Yuraima is a software engineer at The New York Times. She cares deeply about building open source tools, empathetic web design and development, and finding the best tacos in whatever city she happens to be.

What could go wrong?: Pair Programming With the Internet by Liz
Get ready to learn everything you need to know about exploring live coding on the internet! This talk is an introduction to the brave new world of watching and streaming live coding along with lessons I learned developing a website from scratch on Twitch. My goal is for everyone to leave with the knowledge to explore the wide world of streaming on their own. Bring your questions because I want to answer all of them.
Liz is a full stack engineer and coding bootcamp grad in NYC who believes in using coding powers to help others. Every Saturday you can tune into her educational Twitch stream where she’s creating a welcoming community for coders of all levels to meet other coders, ask questions, and learn by working on real projects and answering questions on her channel illuminatedspace. Proud member of The Live Coders Twitch stream team. You can find her on Twitter @lizcodes. Pronouns: she/they.
