Stardate 2025.09.27 – Long-range sensors have detected unusual concentrations of other-worldly lifeforms converging at AlienFest in the Windmill Library system (7060 W Windmill Lane, Las Vegas, NV). The event is being hosted by the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District, and Command has authorized the USS Windrunner crew to conduct an official away mission to investigate.

• Time/Date: Saturday, September 27, 2025 – 11:00 hours to 14:00 hours (Galactic Storytime commences at 10:30 hours)
• Key Points of Interest:
  • A briefing from George Knapp, renowned Federation journalist and investigator of unexplained phenomena
  • Screening & Q&A of WHO THEY ARE? with writer-director Jeremy Norrie
  • Alien Costume Contest – a prime opportunity for first-contact diplomacy with lifeforms of diverse appearances
  • Family-friendly activities including crafts, games, alien caricatures, and interstellar cuisine from food trucks

Crew Instructions:

• All available crew are encouraged to attend in full Starfleet uniform or other suitable away-team attire.
• Engage with lifeforms in the spirit of peace, curiosity, and cultural exchange.
• Document findings for the ship’s log (and maybe win that costume contest).

Objective: Strengthen interstellar relations, enjoy the festivities, and represent The FLEET: A Star Trek Costuming Fan Group with honor and enthusiasm.
