Sounds of Fall: Music Analysis with Marsyas

Details
This Fall we will look into some audio libraries for C++ developers. This month we'll look at Marsyas (Music Analysis, Retrieval and Synthesis for Audio Signals):
Marsyas is an open source software framework for audio processing with specific emphasis on Music Information Retrieval applications. [...] Marsyas has been used for a variety of projects in both academia and industry.
This month, Richard Thomson will give us an introduction to the Marsyas API. We'll take a look at how to use this library to extract a musical score from an audio file.
This will be an online event, so drinks and snacks are on you!
