StarRocks on Kubernetes at Weave

At Weave, we faced the challenge of delivering low-latency, real-time analytics on massive datasets. Our old solutions simply weren't able to keep up. In this presentation, I'll cover how Weave is leveraging StarRocks, deployed on Kubernetes, to deliver both the low-latency requirements demanded by users and incredible cost savings. I'll also share some of the lessons we've learned along the way.

Ben Welker is a Staff Software Engineer at Weave. For the last 4 years, he's been focusing on messaging-related products (e.g. SMS, email, etc.). He has hands-on experience deploying and optimizing StarRocks in a Kubernetes environment, using it to power multiple messaging-related applications at Weave, and is passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies, like StarRocks, to solve complex data challenges.
