Get in line with Event Driven Design

Working with data across platforms can be a difficult task. Using events, queues and data streams can be a powerful tool to help solve for those needs. We will be reviewing how we can leverage an Event Driven Design to allow our systems to grow. Whether you are on a monolithic application or micro servicing out APIs, these can run in parallel to help gain trust in your source of truth.

Speaker Bio

Dano has been a PHP engineer for the last 8 years. He loves to play basketball (and loves the Jazz especially), read a good programming or fiction book, and spend time with his 2 kids. Currently Dano works as a Software Engineering Manager for FASHIONPHILE. He has helped grow the team from 6 engineers to 30+ engineers. In the past 2 years he has lead the team in taking a monolithic Laravel application and breaking it up into several Node and Lumen APIs with serverless integrations throughout. He enjoys writing up architecture plans, trying new design patterns, and collaborating with teammates.
