Coding Standards

The gunslinger age of writing any code that works is long gone. PSR coding standards are now available as guidelines for writing legible code your peers can also read and work with. We will be exploring all the coding guidelines available in squizlabs/php_codesniffer and creating our own coding standard repository which can be applied to any project.

Speaker Bio

Tom H Anderson is Zend Certified PHP and a certified Zend Framework 2 Engineer. He has worked in PHP since 1999 and began programming on the Commodore 128. Tom is an open source contributor. Among his open source contributions Tom has contributed heavily to the Apigility project by Zend.

How to get there:

Take I-15 to the SR-92 (Timpanogos Hwy.) exit. Go West on SR-92. Turn right on N. Thanksgiving Way (In front of the Maverick). At the T intersection, turn right to continue on N. Thanksgiving Way. Turn left on W. Mayflower Ave.

Enter through the front door and immediately turn left and the auditorium will be right in front of you.
