About us
The Utah QA User Group is a user group and network of like-minded professionals interested in career development and dedicated to the advancement of software quality. We have members in many business sectors from all over Utah. We hold meetings in the Salt Lake City area once a quarter revolving around a specific theme. Recent meetings have included topic discussions and presentations on Automated Tools, Processes, and Development Models; Testing in an Agile Environment; Performance Testing Tools and Techniques, Leadership and Management on Technical Teams, and Requirements Documentation.
Our meetings are free to attend and we invite not only folks involved in the testing and quality assurance of software but also software developers, managers, team leaders, project management and anyone else that has a interest in software quality tools, techniques, and processes.
Our meetings generally start at 5:30pm and last until about 7:30-8pm. Food (such as pizza/subs) and drinks are provided through our sponsor TEKSystems. This is a great place to network with other professionals and learn more about the tricks and tools of your trade.
