Come learn the basics of the Bevy game engine. Setup you can do before you come:

* Create a new project `cargo new someproject`
* Add bevy as a dependency `cargo add bevy`
* Get all the dependencies compiled in release mode `cargo build --release`
* Pair a gamepad (or two) to your laptop, bring them along.
* If you have your own game idea: - record some sounds you think you might need - pick out some graphics to use, there's lots of free ones on [https://www.kenney.nl/](https://www.kenney.nl/)
* If you want to follow along with what I make, I'll provide links to download them during the session. I'm using gamepads, so for best follow-alonging bring your own, too. I'll go over how to deal with keyboard/mouse too a little bit.
* If you have any questions with any of this, feel free to contact me on Discord beforehand and I'll help you out.
