2025: The Year of ESM (JavaScript modules - the real ones) w/ AJ ONeal, & Pizza!

As of December 2024, vanilla ESM finally works in Browsers, Node (and npm), and tsc (the TypeScript checker for JavaScript) without transpilers or shims. I'll explain ESM and show how to configure the various environments to use it, and how it differs from the psuedo-ESM with JavaScript-like languages, such as JSX and Vite.
