Summer Picnic and Teapot Racing

Our annual summer potluck picnic and teapot racing day.

A teapot racer is a remote control (RC) ground vehicle with a teapot theme. We have a course with various obstacles to navigate. You can either build your own or use one of ours (a few people bring extras). (Also, the judges aren't above bribery).

If you still have questions, just ask and we can provide more help and resources.

Dress code: steampunk attire is encouraged, but not required. A small number of points are related to attire, but not enough to greatly affect the scores. Anything appropriate to wear in public is appropriate to wear to our events. Come as you are, go full out in steampunk, or anywhere in between.

Food: we will have some refreshments. If you are able, feel free to bring your own food to share (or not; it's going to be a warm day and we want you to be comfortable).

Overall, we'd like to see you there and have fun together.
