Life on Bitcoin Movie - Hometown Premiere - Provo, Utah

The film “Life on Bitcoin" will have its Utah premiere September 1st at the Covey Center for the Arts in Provo, Utah. The movie features the experience of newlywed couple Austin and Beccy Craig who struggled to live entirely on bitcoin for 100+ days in late 2013.

The Craigs tested bitcoin (and their marriage) by relying solely on the cryptocurrency for every expense, including gas, rent, groceries, speeding tickets, and insurance. The couple pushed the limits by using bitcoin in their hometown, then on a cross-country road trip, and finally through international travel in Europe and Asia. The rules of the experiment were published before starting. Credit cards, debit cards, and cash were confiscated at the airport upon arriving in Utah from their honeymoon.
