Our main speaker for this upcoming meetup:

Nicholas B Zeman - Technical Training Developer, Evernym

Nicholas got into emerging technology during his graduate program in Learning Design and Digital Media at the University of Kentucky, 1996, during the emergence of the Internet and World Wide Web as the future of communications and entertainment. He was hired by Sony Computer Entertainment of America as a game designer in San Diego, shortly afterwards, working on multiple award-winning sports titles as a Character Rigger and Technical Artist, which led to a 16 year career in sports game development, both with SCEA and 2K Sports in the Bay Area.

After retiring from the gaming development world he accepted a tenure-track position as a Professor of Media Informatics at Northern Kentucky University until 2016, at which point he accepted a job as a Senior Learning Science Developer with Saint Leo University in Florida. Seeking to push the edges of emerging technology he soon became an early Ethereum developer with a heavy interest in crypto-currency and Blockchain-based credentials. In 2017 he was offered a career at Evernym, Inc, in Draper, Utah, as the Technical Training Specialist, using his skills in both coding and technical training to usher Enterprise developers into the Evernym Accelerator program for the future of Decentralized Identity Development, which is quickly escalating in relevance to the emerging technological horizon.
