Volunteer Meeting- Digital Merchant Series/Balloon Festival

Second session:

Designed to discuss and create goals that contribute to; growing local adoption, and educating the community on peer-to-peer technology, this meeting can be an ongoing effort for those who would like to see the Bitcoin community adoption grow here in Utah.

Particularly, this first meeting will discuss the upcoming Ogden Valley Balloon Festival and how a group of volunteers will create an environment for new-comers to learn about bitcoin and blockchain.

The balloon festival hosts 16,000-18,000 attendees each year, and has been on-going for over 15 years. My goal is to bridge the gap in the virtual world and the local community. This established event is perfect to implement local adoption.

Volunteers will have a platform to engage the general public and vendors with blockchain technology basics and useful tools for socially-sufficient currency. This will start early, so that vendors can be ready for the event itself.

We can go over the plan in more detail for those who are interested in attending. Let’s work together to put Utah on the map!
