In an election year, voting may be 1/365th of what we can do to make a Libertarian Utah, but it is incredibly important to register and vote for libertarians.
We organize like-minded people to win elections and restore a libertarian form of government. To help do this we also encourage joining your state and county party (see: www.LibertarianUtah.com for more details) and to contact your elected representatives and inform them of your support for the libertarian vote on current/upcoming legislation.
Ways to help:
:: Follow our social media and amplify Libertarian voices
:: Call upon (and become) representatives to end our proxy wars and military interventions around the world that do not serve to keep America safe.
:: Live Free and Independent
:: Respect and Care for Every Individual
:: Government based on Consistent Libertarian Principles

2026 Utah Libertarian Organizing Convention
Best Western Cottontree Inn, 10695 Auto Mall Drive, Sandy, UT, USLibertarians from throughout Utah gather to nominate our candidates for Congress, nominate our delegates to the Libertarian National Convention, and hear about the continuing fight for liberty in our state and nation.
This year's festivities kick off as always with our Karl Bray Banquet on Friday evening, in honor of UTLP's founder and national LP cofounder. - and the first person in Utah to appear on a general election ballot as a Libertarian! Doors open at 6:30, with dinner at 7 PM. (For those who were at last year's banquet and were very pleasantly surprised by how good the food was, we're bringing back the same caterer this year!)
Saturday, we will Turn UP the Volume! We will be nominating candidates for Congress in this year's election – and we expect to have candidates in all FOUR districts, for the first time in UTLP history! We anticipate having messages, either recorded or by live remote, from candidates for positions on the Libertarian National Committee. (Those elections will be held in Grand Rapids, MI, over Memorial Day weekend.) We will also be electing those who will go to Grand Rapids on our behalf as delegates from Utah - we have 15 delegate seats available this year!
Stay tuned for further speaker announcements!If you are a supporting member of the Utah Libertarian Party, you are eligible to be a delegate to the state nominating convention. Per our party constitution, you must be a supporting member (donating a minimum of $20 in the past year) no later than 30 days before the convention to be qualified to vote on party leadership, bylaws, and national delegates. If you have not paid your dues recently, you can make that donation when you register for the convention, or here.
You can register for the convention as a delegate or guest, for the business session only, for no charge. Donations for the Friday dinner are $40 per person, or $75 for a couple. A buffet lunch on Saturday is available for $25! For $60, you can be a Defender of Freedom and get both meals when you register!
The convention will be held April 17-18 at the Best Western Cotton Tree Inn in Sandy, just off I-15 at 10600 S on Auto Mall Drive.(NOTE: Meal sales end at 10:00 PM on Monday, April 13. After that date you can still register as a delegate or guest, but not donate for meals.)
