PLUG: What's Really Happening When You Browse the Web?
Details
We will be looking into what your browser is doing when you browse the web. We'll start with a simple web site and walk through the process using the browser's developer tools. We'll talk about some of the various aspects of modern web sites (e.g., authentication, cookies, storage, security), and wrap up with a more complex example putting it all together.
The Provo Linux Users Group (https://plug.org) meet monthly to discuss Linux, Linux-related topics, and technologies of interest to Linux users. If you enjoy Linux, or would like to learn more, join us.
Go in the front doors of Building C (signs for MakeUtah), and follow the signs for PLUG.
