Utah Wine Club Pages

The sole purpose of the Utah Wine Club is to enjoy wine in a fun social environment.

Given that goal, we do have a few simple guidelines for the club.


  • Membership requires the payment of $10 for club dues annually. We use club dues to purchase wine glasses, name tags, pay website fees, and support our event hosts. Payment via WePay provides secondary verification of ID, and gives our event hosts peace of mind inviting you into their home. Events with attendance limitations may be restricted to “paid” members.

  • While couples may attend events as a member and a +1 (guest), we encourage couples to have their own memberships as events limited to 15 or fewer attendees may not allow for a +1.

  • We ask each person attending any of our events to bring a bottle of wine and an appetizer. If you are inviting guests, we still request a bottle of wine from each of you, though you can bring one appetizer. Non-drinking designated drivers are the exception. At the end of the event, if your bottle has not been opened, please leave it with the host. One incentive for hosting an event is that hosts get to keep any remaining wine.

  • Please read the description of the events carefully. Some may include specific instructions regarding a focus on a particular food or wine for the evening.

  • Please RSVP with care. We have “no shows” at almost every event. This is unfair to other members and the host. If plans change, update your RSVP immediately.

  • Small events often fill quickly, and not all events are announced. As you review upcoming events, please note that sometimes events will be posted well in advance of opening for RSVPs so that members can plan their calendars according. Make note of the opening date and time if you are interested in the event, and then RSVP quickly.

  • Most events include a "wait list" option. If the event is full, go ahead and sign up on wait lists. As RSVPs change, which they often do, you could be given a spot! The wait list is managed according to the number of openings and the order of your RSVP. Please do not ask to circumvent this system.

  • We encourage you to host a meetup at your home or elsewhere. We provide the wine glasses and name tags. Any size home will do. You can place a limit on the number of people you want to attend. All you have to do is email an organizer or event coordinator and they will help you organize your event and post it on our website. We'll hold your hand through the process.

  • Respect the homes and neighbors of the event hosts. Please act responsibly, utilize designated drivers, please do not drink to excess or overstay when an event is ending, and be responsible for your own actions.

  • The Utah Wine Club is owned an operated by Utah WC, LLC.

New members, please note at every meetup anywhere from 10-50% of the people do not know each other. That's why we wear name tags: so you can walk up to people and introduce yourself and make new friends. So when you come to your first event, don't feel as if you're the only one who doesn't know anyone. Join in the fun.
