UBC discuss Jungle House by Julianne Pachico

At our December book group meeting we will be discussing Jungle House by Julianne Pachico.

There seem to be several copies of this in Bristol libraries.

Themes/key words: AI, mothering, South America, dystopia, colonialism, environmental issues, Indigeneity

We will be trying out a new venue again this month as it got busy (in other words loud) as the evening went on at the Llandoger Trow. We are scoping out whether we might be able to use a quieter space in the Watershed building but failing that we will meet at the King William. If the Watershed thing works out I will update this listing and let everyone know.
