Utrecht JavaScript Meetup - 2025!

The next step of the revival of the great Meetup community continues with the first exciting Meetup for 2025!

For this Meetup we have prepared two great talks by motivated speakers at our host VodafoneZiggo in Utrecht.

Talk 1: The Power of fluent interface - by Daniel Beeke
Fluent Interfaces. What are they and more importantly what do they give? Maybe you still remember jQuery or one of the various query builders. In this talk we will look at how to they work, what they give and finally how to make our own. We will talk about the API design of fluent interfaces, async, sync and various other patterns that are available.

Talk 2: Breaking Barriers - Web Accessibility Through Testing - by Anuradha Kumari
Ever heard about accessibility, and wondered if it is some rocket science? Or maybe considered exploring it but abandoned due to overwhelming documentation? Let's debunk the complexities and myths around web accessibility. We will together explore tools and extensions for analyzing and testing web accessibility while looking at how to fix those.
Takeaway - You can directly use these tools and tips to access and fix the accessibility of your websites and applications.
