This photowalk is the start of creating a photo series, in which we try to capture the differences of each season.
We will walk in winter, spring, summer and autumn and follow the same route at every walk. This will hopefully enable us to create a beautiful series of four photographs.

For the first walk it is important to try to make several photos at a few different locations, where you think you can best capture the various seasons during the year. The following walks will be a challenge to find the same locations of your best shots again and try to recreate your previous photos, angle/zoom/etc.
After each walk we can share some of our results to the meetup page and after the last walk I would like to ask everyone to share their best final result, a series of "Four Seasons in Utrecht".
The photowalks are planned for: Feb 24, Apr 28, Jul 27 and Oct 19.

We will meet in front of the library at Neude and follow this route. This walk will be about 4km long, so expected end time is around 16:00. After the walk we could stop for a drink at Mariaplaats (optional, not included and at your own expense), talk photography and share our results.

Come prepared: wear comfortable shoes, bring water, check the weather forecast, use sunscreen or bring an umbrella ...and don't forget your camera :-)
Let's MeetUp and have fun!

Please note:
- The photowalk starts at the posted time. If you are running late just find us. The live location of the group (Google Maps) will be shared in our WhatsApp group. Link to join the WhatsApp group will be shared to the meetup participants by e-mail the day before the walk.
- This photowalk could be cancelled or postponed in case of really bad weather.
- The end time is an estimate only; the length of the actual walk could be different from posted.
– Check before you go if all your equipment is working properly; lens cleaned, batteries charged, memory cards empty.
– Make sure you have a good personal liability insurance (W.A. verzekering). Some of us walk around with expensive equipment; accidents could happen. The organisation is not responsible for any damage or loss.
– Pay attention to your surroundings, traffic, curbs and people.
– Be respectful of residents, their property and privacy.

* Any type of camera is welcome.
* If taking pictures or making photos gives you joy, you are more than welcome!
