Photowalk: Four Seasons in Utrecht - 2024 SNOW edition

Looks like our chances for snow are melting away, so the not-set-yet date for this walk has been moved to next year.
We will only walk when it actually snows in Utrecht!
In our WhatsApp/Signal groups we can share the current weather conditions in Utrecht and to set a date/time together. This event will be updated when an actual date/time has been agreed on.

This photowalk is to finish our four seasons photo series from 2024, in which we tried to capture the differences of each season. We have walked in winter, spring, summer and autumn and followed the same route at every walk.
This last walk will only happen when Utrecht is actually covered in snow. This photowalk we will follow the 2024 route and this will hopefully enable us to finish our series.

If you joined us on the previous walks, remember to bring your previous photos and your notes (on your phone) so you can review the original images you would like to recreate during the walk. After each walk we can share some of our results to the meetup page and after the last walk I would like to ask everyone to share their best final result, a series of "Four Seasons in Utrecht".

We will meet in front of the library at Neude and follow the posted route. This walk will be about 4km long, so expected end time is around 16:00. After the walk we could stop for a drink at Mariaplaats (optional, not included and at your own expense), talk photography and share our results.

Please note:

• The photowalk starts at the posted time. Try to be there early, but if you are running late... just find us. The live location of the group (via Google Maps) will be shared in our WhatsApp group. A link to join the WhatsApp group can be requested by direct message.
• Please update your RSVP's if you can not make it!
• This photowalk could be cancelled or postponed in case of really bad weather.
• The end time is an estimate only; the length of the actual walk could be different from posted.
• Check before you go if all your equipment is working properly; lens cleaned, batteries charged, memory cards empty.
• Come prepared: wear comfortable shoes, bring water and a snack, check the weather forecast ...and don't forget your camera :-)
• Make sure you have a good personal liability insurance (W.A. verzekering). Some of us walk around with expensive equipment; accidents could happen. The organisation is not responsible for any damage or loss.
• Pay attention to your surroundings, traffic, curbs and people.
• Be respectful of residents, their property and privacy.

And finally:

• Any type of camera is welcome.
• If taking pictures or making photos gives you joy, you are more than welcome!
