Climate Grief

You are welcome to bring flyers or other promotion materials. There will be drinks and snacks and plenty of time to meet, talk and relax.

Agenda:
19:30 - Set up (If you want to help or setup a table for flyers etc.)
19:45 - Doors open (Grab a drink and a snack, awkwardly stand around)
20:00 - Movie time (Youtube, but funny and well done)
20:30 - Break (Get another drink and now have something to talk about)
20:45 - Discussion (Share your thoughts on paper or out loud)
21:15 - Finish official discussion (Talk with newly made or old friends)
21:45 - Help clean up (or quietly sneak away)

Climate Grief - does our grief and rage about inaction around the climate limit us in talking about the complete picture? The problem is not only the warming of the planet, but also the policy on migration, the violation of (undocumented) worker rights, the genocide in Palestine, and the rise of fascism currently linked to trans hate. These are all part of one big problem.
The short movie we will watch for the first 30 minutes will talk about how those things are all connected. Afterwards we will have a discussion on what this means for both the climate march November 12 in Amsterdam, as well as for the anti-fart (feminism appropriating radical transphobes) demonstration November 18 in Utrecht.
