Why Toastmasters?
• For almost a century Toastmaster has helped people meet their personal or professional goals by improving their public speaking skills.
• Over half of fortune 500 companies consider a Toastmasters educational level a desirable form of professional training.
• Most of those Fortune 500 companies, value Toastmaster training enough to run their own Toastmaster clubs
Why our club?
• Unlike a Toastmaster Club sponsored by your employer, a non-Corporate club allows you an almost unlimited freedom of expression but will still provide you with a legitimate and valuable professional certification.
• Unlike a club sponsored by your employer, you need not worry about missteps in your public speaking becoming a source of break room humor as might the be case with a club in which the members are also our co-workers.
• Our club is sponsored by a Unitarian Church which is one of the most theologically and politically Liberal denominations out there. You will not be proselytized or be exposed to opinions you may heartily disagree with.
