Here is some information from his website:
Crimulus is a Portland-based singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, performer, and recording artist. A native to Appalachia, he has strong roots in bluegrass and country, but his music is also heavily influenced by 90s pop and 2000s hard rock. He performs primarily as a solo acoustic act, and his sound nestles well under the general "Americana" tag while firmly channeling a uniquely eclectic blend of many styles. Although he describes creating music as an involuntary act for him, his lyrics are poetic, insightful, and frequently introspective, and explore ideas from whimsical joy and ambition to devastating loneliness, impostor syndrome, and the existential. His unique voice and catchy melodies will draw you in, and his wit and authentic delivery will keep you there.
