From Rev Catherine...

Dear friends

One of the most delightful moments of my journey as an Order member ordained by Thich Nhat Hanh was when I learned about the relationship between Thay and Dr. King. Thich Nhat Hanh and Martin Luther King Jr. were profound allies in the nonviolence and peace movements, bonding over their shared vision for a "Beloved Community" and opposition to the Vietnam War. And Dr King learned much about Nonviolent Resistance from my dear Thay....

This Sunday we will explore the powerful practice of Nonviolence. We will look deeply at the current situation in Minneapolis, listening to the lived experience of a resident. We will learn how Nonviolence operates as a powerful tool against fascism. And, following the legacy of Dr King, we will know hope.

Please join us on Sunday---we need your voice when we end our service with "We Shall Overcome."

See ya Sunday :)
