November Meetup — The Searcher by Tana French
Details
November's book is The Searcher by Tana French:
Retired detective Cal Hooper moves to a remote village in rural Ireland. His plans are to fix up the dilapidated cottage he's bought, to walk the mountains, to put his old police instincts to bed forever.
Then a local boy appeals to him for help. His brother is missing, and no one in the village, least of all the police, seems to care. And once again, Cal feels that restless itch.
Something is wrong in this community, and he must find out what, even if it brings trouble to his door.

We have five weeks, so this one's a little longer. Personally I LOVE Tana French's Dublin Murder Squad series; her books are always absorbing and hard to put down, so you'll get through it!
Trying out a new space! Couldn't find any public libraries open in the evening with enough space, but I scoped out some public atrium areas and found this one in Midtown. Meetup won't let me upload the little video I took, but just google and you'll see lots of pics. It's open till 10:00, though unfortunately the cafe closes at 7:00, so BYOsnacks. I added more RSVP spots now that we have a little more room.
👉 Please RSVP if you are coming, and cancel it if something changes so people on the waitlist have a chance
👉 Please don't come without RSVPing
👉 Feel free to join the waitlist if you miss a spot, but please wait and see if you've gotten in before attending!
Fee will be collected at the meeting in cash or via Venmo [@RoseMEsposito] or CashApp [$RoseEsposito] -- the Meetup fee is $200+ a year! 🚨Just ignore the online payment feature.🚨
