AI is transforming how products are conceived, built, and evolved - but what does that actually mean for UX, research, and design teams on the ground?

Join Uxia for a live panel featuring industry leaders, including Javier Darriba (Founder and former CEO of UserZoom, now part of UserTesting), Eloy Rodríguez (Director of Product Design at Abacum), and Iris Latour (Director of UX Research at THEFT studio). Together, they’ll explore how AI is reshaping the way teams understand users, design meaningful experiences, and make smarter, faster decisions. The discussion will be led by Víctor Eced, co-founder & CTO at Uxia.

Panelists
Eloy Rodriguez is the Director of Product Design at Abacum, where he leads the design vision for one of Europe’s fastest-growing fintech scaleups. With a strong background in UX, product strategy, and DesignOps, he has built and led high-performing design teams across a wide range of tech-driven organizations, including Factorial, BBVA, Telefónica, Roche, and Inditex.

Javier Darriba is a pioneer in the UX industry and former founder & CEO of UserZoom, one of the first unmoderated usability testing platforms, later merged with UserTesting in a deal valued at over $800M. He also founded Xperience Consulting, one of Spain’s earliest UX agencies, and today is an active investor and General Partner at Encomenda, backing tech companies in the UX space like Uxia.

Iris Latour is the Director of UX Research at THEFT Studio, where she focuses on researching AI-powered products, enterprise AI transformation, and the evolving relationship between people, systems, and intelligent tools. She recently completed a Master’s degree in Design for Responsible AI at Elisava and explores how AI is reshaping UX research, product strategy, and human-centered decision making.
