👫 About the Speakers

John Riordan leads the Swisscom Apps Team. He has a long background in identifying processes and products which are suboptimal and working with users to improve. For example he identified that the Swisscom fibre laying process was highly manual and developed a robot to reduce by a factor 10 the cost of laying fiber. He also has developed and launched multiple products, including the first voice service for Swisscom, the first video chat service, first full restaurant booking service for local search.

Fabienne Secchi is a UX/UI designer specializing in user-centered process optimization. For over three years, she has worked as an external freelancer for Swisscom, designing web applications end-to-end, from research and concept development to prototyping, usability testing, iteration, and validation. Her experience spans public-facing platforms, like comparis.ch, and internal tools, including interactive playbooks and complex process-driven systems. Fabienne focuses on optimizing internal processes and simplifying complex workflows into intuitive, efficient, and secure experiences.
