Can Everyone Shop? The Accessibility of Swiss Grocery Apps

Details
Please note: Due to an unexpected personal situation, we had to change the speaker of this meetup at the last minute.
Buying groceries online can be a game-changer for people with disabilities—but how accessible are Swiss grocery apps?
In this talk, Dimitri Wüest will share the results of his master’s thesis, in which he evaluated three popular apps. We’ll go beyond the technicalities of WCAG evaluations and take a closer look at the specific barriers blind users face when trying to shop for groceries. Together, we’ll look at how inclusive design can help cross-functional teams create apps that work for everyone in an evolving digital world.
This talk will be in English.
