About the Talk - "Cognitive Experiences (CEx)": experiences enhanced or transformed by GenAI and cutting-edge technologies
Our talk introduces "Cognitive Experiences (CEx)": experiences enhanced or transformed by GenAI and cutting-edge technologies. Leveraging on our expertise, we’ll unveil how CEx augment or replace traditional touchpoints, offering a new dimension of engagement while shifting the paradigm from system integration to experience orchestration. Join us and discover our Spark CEx-Compass: the framework we designed to get oriented in seamlessly melding digital intelligence with human cognition.

About the Talk - Becoming a Design Unicorn in Tech’s ‘Do More with Less’ Era
As the tech industry faces tighter budgets, fewer investors, and shrinking resources, designers are expected to "do more with less." In this talk, we’ll explore how the role of designers has shifted and why versatility—becoming a "unicorn" designer—is now more important than ever. Learn how to balance creativity with business needs, develop the key skills for success, and stay true to good design principles while navigating the demands of today’s fast-paced, resource-constrained industry. Whether you're just starting out or looking to adapt, this talk will help you thrive as a modern designer.

About the Speaker
Reem Alwahabi began her career as an architect before transitioning to UX design. She held leadership roles at Autoscout24 and Predium, where she shaped product strategies and led design teams. Currently, Reem is a Design Manager at DeepL, a language AI pioneer, overseeing a team of product designers dedicated to enhancing user experiences and product functionality of their beloved products.
