About the Talk - Virtual Power Plants – Transforming the customer experience in the energy sector
The energy transition is not optional—it is essential for our planet and our future. But this shift is not only about technology; it profoundly changes how private households engage with energy. In my talk, I will explore why customer experience is key to making this transformation succeed, and how virtual power plants can turn abstract change into something people can truly adopt. Drawing on my own learnings, I will share what makes this journey unique and how we can design energy solutions that inspire trust, acceptance, and real participation.
About the Speaker:
Evgeny is a UX product manager at flexa, a pioneer building Europes largest virtual power plant (VPP) to manage every kilowatt-hour intelligently. After many years discovering and building products in various industries, he is now managing the customer experience of the VPP across all main touchpoints.

About the Talk - Playful Learning: UX in Children Video Games
In my talk, I’d like to invite you to look at games through the lens of fun, flow, and user experience. I’ll explore how UX principles shift when applied to video games and, more specifically, to games for kids — where curiosity and creativity meet the need for safety and trust. Shaped by my work in children’s games, it is important to highlight why designing for young players also means designing for the parents and adults who guide them, and how thoughtful game design can support both play and learning.
About the Speakers:
Hi there, this is Veronica Iezzi, or just Vero. I’m a Designer and Illustrator originally from Venezuela. From the illustration and storytelling of printed books to the design of digital illustrated libraries, I specialized in the art of flat-style digital illustration with vectors.
My creative journey brought me to Germany, where I stepped into the world of games and learning by joining Edurino as a 2D Game Artist. There, I expanded my skills into game design, and I am proud to say I help develop playful hybrid learning experiences that combine physical toys with digital entertainment. My passion lies in bringing together play, design, and fun to craft engaging learning experiences for children.
When I’m not in front of the computer (or playing video games off the clock), you can usually find me practicing bouldering.

We are looking forward to welcoming you.
Cheers,
Evgeny, Ann-Cathrin and Andrea
