Bio:
Julene Aguirre is the head of research and design strategy at Capital One UK and a visiting lecturer at the Royal College of Art and Imperial College. After completing a degree in product design in Germany and working as a product designer in Berlin, she moved to London in 2010 where she completed an Innovation Design Engineering Masters degree at the Royal College or Art and Imperial College London. She has since worked in the start-up world, public sector, academia, agencies, and corporate environments, focusing her work on how design can help guide behavioural change towards combined positive outcomes for people and businesses. She's worked on a range of topics, expanding from the introduction of insects as a sustainable protein to democratisation of satellite technology and everything in between, and currently focuses in financial inclusion.
