What we're about

Shame On UX is an open-format user experience meet-up focused on discussing the importance of UX and UI by poking fun at where it has failed.

We run group exercises to get people thinking about information design, user requirements, and how this all ties back to planning an effective interface.

Please follow us on social media and feel free to reach out to us with feedback and ideas.

We will repost and retweet our followers posts and will keep you updated on all upcoming events! Just use the twitter hashtag #shameonUX or @shameonux on instagram.

Also, we encourage your submissions on our Tumblr!

Building Blocks of Design Thinking

Arcweb Technologies

Design thinking is a valuable technique that can help teams identify and collaboratively solve problems from the very start of a project. It is practiced through a series of activities that act as building blocks for solutions. Join us for an interactive session led by the Arcweb design team where we'll exercise design thinking techniques that you can put to use in your next project. We'll share an overview of the design thinking methodology and then dive into hands-on activites where you'll explore problem solving by creating physical prototypes out of simple objects. This is a great meetup to attend if you're a designer looking for new ideas for design thinking activities or for anyone interested in learning about design methodologies but hasn't had the chance to get hands-on experience. You won't need any artistic background or prior skills, we promise! Drinks and snacks will be provided. SCHEDULE: 6:00 - 6:30: Refreshments and meet & greet 6:30 - 8:00: Presentation/Activity 8:00 - 8:30: Additional networking time
