About Tom:

Tom, more precisely, Thomas Boillat, works as Digital Health Product Lead, where he assesses and accelerates high impact digital health initiatives emerging from Roche’s markets. He also participates in implementing strategic partnerships that enable Roche to strengthen its position in the field of digital health.

Prior to his current position, he was an assistant professor in healthcare innovation and technologies and the co-founder of the Design Lab, an initiative of the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dubai, UAE. He designed and evaluated digital health solutions in view of increasing patient satisfaction, experience, and safety. He earned his PhD from the University of Lausanne, Faculty of Business and Economics (HEC), and was a visiting scholar at Stanford University's School of Medicine.
