Alex has over 10 years experience working for some of the biggest companies in the world. He leads the design practice at Made by Many and is a senior leader in growing the companies offering. He is passionate about helping big organisations create industry leading products that both help drive revenue but also adoption.
Pantea Razzaghi - ResearchOps at Opentrons
Pantea is a strategic design and user experience specialist with 10+ years in research, product design and communication strategy, working primarily with start-ups and innovative technologists exploring newly emerging markets. Core focus on the digitization of biological workflows, distributed science, and enabling the standardization of synthetic biology and DIYbio culture over past 5 years.
Helen Arvanitopoulos - Head of UX at Aegon
Currently Head of UX for the Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Aegon NV, Her role and passion sees her working across Europe, Asia and America with a human-centred, multi-disciplinary, collaborative approach that helps businesses and teams build and grow their capabilities and transform their organisations.

TALKS
#1 - The Do's and Don't of Innovation Labs.
Alex will share with us the Do's and Don't of setting up Innovation Labs for companies. What are the key things to follow up, and how to deliver lasting change when so many Labs fail to execute idea in the real world.
#2 - Design investment persuasion within the bio-engineering sector.
Pantea will share her tricks to gain buy-in establishing a design practice within an small-medium sized robotics company that’s bio- engineering based. She will share examples of success uniting the hardware/software/science teams through UX and how those successes have enabled continued investment in design as the company scales
#3 - How to stay loyal to your users
Helen will share her views on how we can stay loyal to our users when we perform user research between many layers of stakeholders.
Our research is too easily distorted, so we need to be able to make sure we are able to control the conversation and avoid others to mess up things. She will cover the full research journey, from gathering requirements from stakeholders, to bringing back insights from the field and sharing it with the team.
