Systems thinking for the working week
Four altitudes, and how to move between them without a workshop

Everyone agrees systems thinking matters. Almost nobody has a moment in the week where they actually do it.
Complex products are rarely designed that way. They accumulate, one reasonable decision at a time, until no redesign can fix what the structure keeps producing.

Anna Nerz uses a funnel she is responsible for at Mobility to show where those decisions actually get made, and why removing anything is the hardest change to get through a business.
The session sets out four altitudes a problem can live at, and the practical side of moving between them in a normal working week.
Altitude checks that fit inside rituals teams already run. Getting a structural problem into high-level planning. Seed planting, delegating, and what to do when the seed does not take.
