**About the talk:**
Buying groceries online can be a game-changer for people with disabilities—but how accessible are Swiss grocery apps? In this talk, Dimitri will share the results of his master’s thesis, in which he evaluated three popular grocery apps. We’ll go beyond the technicalities of WCAG evaluations and take a closer look at the specific barriers blind users face when trying to shop for groceries. Together, we’ll look at how inclusive design can help cross-functional teams create apps that work for everyone in an evolving digital world.

**About the speaker:**
Hi, I’m Dimitri, a Product Manager and former UX Designer with a strong focus on e-commerce. I’ve worked in agencies, in research, and now at Migros Online, where I contribute to shaping grocery shopping in Switzerland, online and in-store.
I hold degrees in Software Development and UX Design. My thesis explored app accessibility, where I evaluated grocery apps to uncover and address common barriers faced by people with disabilities.
