Background
We started this group is to create a space for UX professionals to share the challenges they face at work and get support from other UX designers.UX function is new to many organizations and there's a often misconception of what UX is and what the UX team can do for the business. This group addresses this problem and collectively we can learn and grow together.

About the event:
Does your UX portfolio attract recruiters and hiring managers (and does NOT scare them away)? As you may know, the portfolio is one of the most crucial parts of a UX job search, and making some of the common mistakes can ruin your chances of landing that first UX role.
You may have heard that what will ultimately get you hired is a strong portfolio with real comprehensive UX case studies.
Join this interactive virtual fireside chat to learn from a UX professional who worked at Johnson & Johnson, Comcast, General Mills and NY Blood Center. You will learn about her journey, the key roadblocks, and how exactly she built an effective UX portfolio that helped her successfully land that first UX job.
If you want an opportunity to learn from those who successfully accomplished exactly what you are looking to do, we invite you to join this event - so you can also build an effective UX portfolio and land your first UX job in 2025.
