Cork Design Doers – Innovation Reflection and SMART Planning Tools Workshop

This month we will be running an interactive workshop with Dr. Fred Creedon and Will Martin facilitating.

Dr Fred Creedon
Dr Fred Creedon is an experienced Design Thinker, Facilitator and Educator. Fred’s background in information systems design and development has shaped his perspective of and application of the design thinking method. Fred received his PhD in 2017 for the design of the user interface for an electronic vital sign early warning system.

Fred is a lecturer in Munster Technological University where he is director for the Special Purpose Award in Designing Innovative Services. Designing Innovative Services is an online 3 month part-time, level 8 award designed to give participants the knowledge, skills and confidence to apply design thinking and service design methods in their practice.

Fred is focused on the application of design thinking for innovation and founded Cork Design Doers in reaction to the COVID lockdown. Cork Design Doers brings together a group of innovators and designers to design tools to help small business to design in reaction to the economic crisis.

Will Martin
Will Martin is a Product Owner with 6 years experience in the software industry. An accredited Design Sprint facilitator, Will also runs design sprints for Startups, Enterprise, Accelerators and Non-Profits. He teaches Lean UX at Masters level.
