In our last session, "What is Design Engineering and Where to Start," attendees dropped a dot where they are and a star where they want to be. The dots sat at the ends and the stars landed in the middle. So, we found 3 designers who closed the gap. One doubled her productivity, another taught AI her design system, and a third rebuilt her whole portfolio in Claude Code. All of them are still designers, none of them became engineers.
We'll break down their workflows ā the tools they picked, where AI sits in their process, and what they automated.
